Made a trial fit of the AVEO Powerburst light on the right wingtip. I mounted it as high on the tip as possible and at the max wingspan point. Although at roughly 45 degrees to the vertical, the actual LED's are mostly beyond the tip. Sonex uses them in this position with apparent success.
Received the TinyTach 2A today and installed it in the tach position on the left of the panel. The TinyTach has a built in battery and doesn't require any external power. The battery cannot be replaced, but seems to last for many years. Some people have successfully replaced the battery by cutting the unit apart, so it can be done if desired.
